Quick question - how difficult was it to replace the e-brake microswitch? I think mine is shot. If you put any weight (i.e. rest your arm on) on the e-brake while disengaged, the light will come on in the dash. Was thinking of replacing the switch. Difficult to do?

It was actually super-easy.

If you have the problem I had, and it was stuck in the OFF position and preventing the top from operating, and you want to cheat a little bit in the meantime, you can, with no tools, trick the car into thinking the e-brake is on by pulling off the lever cover, pulling out the plug from the microswitch and putting a paperclip into it. Then fix at your leisure.
