I would think you could get away with that if you keep your windows up and your speed down. That's going to be the longest 300 miles you've ever driven.

Having it shipped isn't an option? Or maybe someone could lend you the spinlocks until you get your own?

Secure it with zip ties so it wont rattle or bounce when you hit a bump.
