Found the time to do a detail last week. Didn't quite have the energy to break out the PC to polish, but did wash, clay, then applied two coats. The finish on these guys really cleans up nicely. The results---not bad for an 11 year old car:
I can't believe it, but I got the random orbital like 5 years ago (not all that long after I got the Box) and haven't used it on this car yet. (Have used it on another.) Just didn't see the need---was seeing no swirls. Well, this year, if I looked really close in just the right light I could see a few. So...guess I'll have to give it a try (NEXT year ).
What I used. (The pink stuff? FinishKare 425.)

I like how you laid out the products in order of use. Keepin' it simple.

Thanks for the comments. I left out one thing...the quick detail bottle, used with the clay bar.
The downside to detailing? It sure don't last...
Spring's tough: you got all that pollen in the air, and dust and intermittent showers, a regular PITA.
For all you anal retentives out there, relax---I gave her a bath right after taking that photo.

Hello Topless, I'm hoping you can help me. you posted and had assistance on a topic regarding error codes you were receiving on your porsche. I'am having the exact same error codes and believe they may be related to a faulty ignition switch since mine is faulty but i'm not sure. Can you please email me, letting me know what the fix was? I'd greatly appreciate it if you can tell me how you took care of the issue. I'am not sure exactly how the forums work so i can provide you with my user name, which is laurenlolo and can be emailed at gabee@comcast.net here's the link. Thank you! http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/29643-cel-codes-print.html
