Rear Defrost Adhesive

I found the wire and connector for my rear defroster lying loose somewhere between the outer and inner tops. It looks like pulled free from the glass itself and needs to be reattached to the metallic grid.

Is there an adhesive that would allow this to be attached and be able to carry current or is this a delicate soldering job?

Turns out this is a common problem and auto parts stores carry an adhesive to correct it. This is the first time I ever encountered it.
