Drive readiness?!

Ok, went to go to the smog shop for my annual check up for the state. They hook it up passes the "smog" portion of the test and then comes to tell me that the car didn't pass because the car's computer says the checks can not be completed because either the battery has been disconnected or codes reset. I did remove the battery to replace the door lock module and have driven it a few days and now I get this? How long does it take for the computer to fully reset? This sucks!

Mike, The lag time it takes a computer to have the information ready for inspection is not only a Porsche phenomenon, it happens in many marques. I don't know exactly how many days it's going to take you to get the computer righted but driving it more should make it occur more quickly, not a big deal unless of course you are up in April as it's likely to take more than a few days.
