Who says you can't go muddin' in a Porsche??!

This was just too stupid not to post.
OK. So me and my GPS are not on speaking terms this evening. She is bad about taking me down the wrong path. (Typical female) Today she sent me out in the boonies of East Texas. The road appeared to be a familiar oil top road with grass growing in the middle of it. Yes, that is a familiar sight around here if you get out far enough. Turns out, that black oil top was just black clay packed down by this morning's rain. Slick as cat ******************** on a linoleum floor. I made it almost 200 yards before I realized what it was.

A 4WD truck and a wrecker almost got stuck in it also trying to get me out. Of course the Porsche doesn't have a tow hook on the rear. I had get my car turned around so that the tow truck could hook on. I had to spin around in the mud forward and back over and over. When I did get straightened out I managed to drive all the way back out without the tow truck. I am so proud of my little mud car.
*Tow truck driver still charged me $125. He should of paid me. He is only the 2nd person to ever see a Porsche go muddin'.

Maybe it's the downforce from your spoiler that made you get stuck, not the dirt road.

not to rain on your parade, but if you remove the license plate, there is a tow hook mounting point behind it...

Nice! It's good to see one not all shined up and ready for a parade for a change

Nice to see someone who's not afraid of getting their Porsche a little dirty!

Keeping a Porsche locked in the garage is like being married to a supermodel and never .... well, you get the idea.

......And here I was thinking I was the only one using their Porsche as a plow on Earth Day.

I don't envy you the clean-up job. Looks like you'll need a hoist and a pressure washer. Or maybe for an encore you can drive it through a stream.

Probably that hillbilly wing slowed you down. Otherwise you'd have made it easy.

I think you've received enough flak for the wing, so I won't supply any more.

Glad to see everything should just wash off and you didn't really get dug in.

I didn't know about the tow hook point behind the rear license plate, md10835...I'll have to remember that one.

I am imagining the horror of cleaning out that filter box and intake scoop just looking at the side of that Boxster...but I'd be having a blast being the guy behind the wheel that gets it that way.

So many hours of cleaning for such a short detour into the mud.

Glad you got it around and back out on your own...I would have to disagree with everyone, it IS your wing that got you out of the mud!

I also didn't know about the tow hook mount behind the rear license plate.
