Hey Chris,

My suction mount is not defect. I'm defect. I never knew you could 'locked' the suction cup. DOH!

Doing so took 95% of the movement out of the mount. I've included a diagram here to help others Homers with this issue.



On a side note .. I actually found the post from a while back ( rollbar thread ) where there was a picture of your mount setup ( with the drilled through rollbar pads ). Just some questions in case I decide to go that route.

Did you have to countersink those 4 screw ?
Do you remember what size screw you use and perhaps where to drill ?
