Oh man I first I thought this was much ado about nothing, surely Zee Germans had come up with quick release mechanisms to disassemble but removing the wheels!!!

Man if that isn't asking for someone to put things back together the wrong way and find out once you're hitting the brakes at speed.

Take it to Quick Lube and insist they honor their policy of checking the filter, that should teach em...

So basically, to do any work on the engine, you have to take off the wheels, back bumper cover and air box. Nice.

Most quick oil change shops in my area flat out refuse to work on Porsches ...
... and the one who didn't refuse managed to screw it up (re-used the washer for the oil drain plug, which created a leak)
