air box removal

Can I get my stock air box out without cutting it to pieces? Has anybody done this with engine in-situ

Of course I plan to remove the intake plenum....etc

... support the engine from underneath with a scissors jack.
remove the 4 bolts on the front engine mount's base.
Lower the engine by an inch or two.
That'll give you plenty of room to remove the airbox without having to sacrifice it.
