$265 for an oil change at the dealership??

I never do anything at the dealership in DC. They are pretty expensive. I wait until I'm down in NC, where I recently had my oil and filter change for $202, which is still expensive, but I change oil every 12-15k, so it's not that bad for a yearly cost. I have 122k miles on the Boxster. YMMV

I recommend you contact Taylor @ his indy shop in Sterling, VA, for a quote; Chapman Auto Werks. I've heard great things about his shop. I'm not affiliated with this shop in any way; just sharing the info I've heard.
