saw a Carerra GT
One of the local club members brought his CGT to the local Porsche shop last night (kudos to Doc's Grrage, good pizza and German beverages). Had a number of people show up and oggle the car. The engine bay is a work of art - one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Car looks great from any angle. Mid-engine, of course.
I sat in it - a little tight for me (6'4") and I was reluctant to mess with the seat and steering wheel settings.
Owner said it's a great car, though not necessarily suited as a daily driver - the front lip is a tad low. His daily driver - a twin turbo.
