Regarding the posts about "best models", if your friend told me his 308 was the best he wouldn't have a tough time winning me over. The sound is fantastic and I'll bet it's a blast to drive. That model like Porsche 944 was judged harshly for being too slow, i always heard the 328 was the one to get yet I'll bet the 3.0 is great too, just car legends that are not always accurate.

I've had that "YOU OWN A PORSCHE" comment a couple of times. My daughter has had a variation on it when i pick her up from work "So, your dad owns a Porsche...".

Part of my job is to attend construction site meetings and when I go in my car I invariably get the comment "I must be in the wrong line of work" To which I usually reply "Yeah, if you had my job then you too could drive a 13 year old used car!".

Interesting comments on the 308. I still want one. Probably spent too much time watching Magnum PI when I was a kid.

I work in the financial side and a another advisor stated that someday he hoped he could afford a Boxster instead of his 2011 Camary. I tried for hours to trade him even and --forgive the difference in price. He could not believe that I paid a third what he paid. Now his is really pissed.
