Who yo callin a chestnut JD....
Princess Di probably made more money with these "hits" than all of us put together......
Note that these were only hits in America - the rest of the cultured world thought it a bit sickly sweet on the stomach.
Not quite in Led Zeppelin's early '70's sphere of quality.....!!

So Steve, what about these songs?

I'd Really Love to See You Tonight - YouTube
England Dan & John Ford Coley...Love is the Answer - YouTube

Were these a hit in the "Land Down Under"?

They sure were - but I was living / working in Southern Africa at the time, and England Dan etc were, like, 3rd tier type music for those young voluptuous teen virgin girls looking for someone to smooch with them and then whisk them away on a romantic weekend with promises of everlasting....

Bugger, getting misty eyed there for a moment

Lets get back to Led Zep, Steve Winwood, Free - hell, even Chicago will do - that'll send Danger into spasmodic regurgitations......
