I know what you mean, this month I'm looking at a new clutch, starter, AOS, and I just replaced the MAF. Although since I got the car six years ago, I have only ever had two mechanical issues, where which were easy and relatively inexpensive fixes.

Statistics and law of averages allow us to not complain about things. It actually makes us feel lucky at times!

I will continue to "knock on wood" with my then new 02 Box with ~74k miles.
