All you need to do is plug it in at the back, and feed the connector to the front.
Also, you will need to 'activate' AUX on your radio by pressing the TP button for a few seconds and selecting AUX to ON from the menu.

Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

Thanks

What is odd is that Magazine does not hold and it reverts back to FM1 or CD depending what the unit is currently on. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance.
Did you activate the AUX option?

To enable AUX on CDR-220;

1. Turn radio on
2. Press and hold the "TP" button for about 8 seconds until "Becker 1" is displayed.
3. Turn the Tuning Knob until AUX OFF is displayed.
4. Press either button located directly under the Arrows on the display to
change the present setting from OFF to ON.
5. Turn radio OFF.
6. Turn Radio back “ON” and press “S” button to select AUX Mode.

Thanks for getting back so fast. I really appreciate it! Still no luck on getting AUX after following your instructions. Got AUX on as you see in the photo and I still only get Magazine.

If you have the CD changer installed and connected to the radio it won't show AUX, but MAGAZINE or CD - TRACK __
Happy Boxstering,

Thanks Pedro! That did it. I actually still had the center plug for the CD Player plugged in.

BTW - I am real happy with the UDP. We talked on the phone a few weeks ago. Install was fairly straight forward and it works as described. The only downside I have noticed so far is when running the headlights you get a short interruption/pause to the stereo when you first get on the gas.

Playing not charging!

Hi everyone.

Bought the iP-BKR2 from Discount Car Stereo (iP-BKR2 iPod Adapter for Becker and other Radios with "AUX" Menu Setting :: iPod Adapters & Interfaces)

Anyway, followed the instructions to enable the AUX mode on the 220. Now the 220 plays my iPhone in Aux mode, but does not charge.

Anyone have any ideas why it's not charging?

Thanks,
Rob T

CDR-220 USB Port for AUX

I just installed the USB-BKR in my auxiliary port of the CDR-220. I decided to go with the USB option so I could have more flexibility in what I plugged into the unit. I thought I would share some pictures. I was trying to go for a factory look yet still keeping the cord accessible. I ended up drilling a whole in the center console. It turns out there is already an indentation in the shelf that you can drill out and presto it's centered nicely. I am very pleased with the look and the functionality. The audio sounds great, it charges my phone and the navigation audio from my phone also plays through the speakers. Could not be happier.
