Scott Schreiner Registered User Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: Raleigh, NC Posts: 7	Thanks guys! Nothing special regarding IMS replacement. I'm an engineer and was mostly curious. Additionally, the Boxster is my only daily driver. I didn't think it would ever fail, but also couldn't stomach an engine replacement considering the low cost of bearing replacement under my DIY rather than paying a shop. The car had 73k on it when I bought it a year ago and now has 86k.
