Problem starting on first try...

Last 2 mornings when I go to start my car, the engine cranks for 1 second then no start. I would have to try to restart the car and it would work as usual the second time. Any ideas on possible problem? Battery going out? I'm not sure when the battery was last replaced...

I would turn the key and wait a few seconds, maybe 5, then try it. You may have a fuel pump going out or even a partially clogged fuel filter. You would need to check the fuel pressure with a gauge. There are a few listing here about it...just use the search for finding the info.
