47 YO. Own and run an Executive recruiting company specializing in software sales and marketing execs nationwide.

Second Boxster - first was some 12 years ago, bought new and returned via Lemon Law. Went through two BMW M3 conv (loved them but wanted a Boxster again). Found a perfect MY2000 here locally and stole it from the guy so here I am again.

MY DD is a MY2000 Honda Insight (all stock)-getting between 60-85mpg... looks like an egg but damn it feels good getting 600-800 miles per tank with only 10 gallons!

45 - Senior IT consultant/tech prostitute in the process of starting my own MSP. I've run the gambit of cars. I've owned and restored several Mustangs and Shelby's, a couple of Plymouth Valiant convertibles, TT Fiero that was a test vehicle from Pontiac, a '76 Vette, Opel GT, Opel Manta, several 914's, 944's and 951's. my box is an '00 base that was supposedly a flood victim. Can't find any signs of water damage except some minor rust on the Immobilizer pc board. Currently not running but I'm going thru everything before I even attempt it.

I can't believe how old this post is. I retired at 60 last June after working for a printing dead line 32 years and always on call. After 6 months retired I was going nuts and rebuilt my motor a second time, and my original 2.7 base motor. I am currently working at a Ski and summer resort as a electrician 4 days a week, enough to keep sane and still have free time I never had before.

Interesting - the forum seems to be mostly made up of engineering blokes in their 50's. No wonder it's such a great place!

Soon to be 44, law enforcement / military reserves.

Fun car wise I've owed a '75 914, a '99 Miata, and Mrs. Claus recently let me buy a '00 Boxster (base) with 103K miles for X-mas. Loving my Boxster, but I know I'll dumping money into like I did the other cars. Its a sickness.

31, Healthcare compliance. I bought my 06 S in '08 when I worked as an editor in publishing.

I've always been obsessed with cars and especially Porsche for as long as I can remember. Bixby is my second Porsche of three, though i recently sold my Cayenne in an attempt to "grow up" (I've owned almost 20 cars and trucks).

I'm hoping a 2.5 is in my near future; I've ALWAYS wanted to get into racing... I figure, I'm just not getting any younger.

51, attorney. My 2001S is my second Boxster and sixth Porsche. I had a number of 911s, 77, 84, 87 and 05 as well as a 2001 Boxster base that I bought in 04 and sold in 08. I bought my current Boxster because I had more fun with my other Boxster than I ever had with another car.
