Unhappy Meguiars Versa-Angle Body Brush

I purchased a Meguiars Versa-Angle Body Brush thinking it would work well cleaning the top. I like the long handle and thought it would be easier than using the Oxo Wash Brush.

Well, this brush left white fibers all over my black top. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it just because it's new?
Does the Oxo brush leave any fibers on the top?

thanks

I'm using a Libman scrub brush with the Renovo top cleaner. Lightly scrubbing and no bristles come loose.

Oxo

I just used a OXO new brush on my top and got the fibers all over it also, Its easy to clean them off with a clothes lint remover.

the oxo stops shedding after a few uses. I think the versa angle is too prickly for the top. I like the maniac that I am purchased all those gold class brushes and keep them in a Stanley plastic tool box I got at the Home Despot.
Stick with the OXO for the top and get a soft top cover. The best $50 you'll spend.

Thanks for the feedback.

The Meguiars body brush feels really soft and plush. But I don't have anything to compare it to except the Meguiars wheel brush. Maybe I'll get the Oxo on my next order.

I have one of the soft top covers, and agree that it is money well spent. Keeps the inside nice and cool as well as protecting the top. Especially on these 100 degree days we have been having.
