anyone else battle the loose carpet syndrome?

It seems as long as I've owned 5speed cars I've always had the battle with loose floor mats. Does this drive anyone else insane?

Do you have the plastic screws with velcro installed?

You're not the only one going insane. A Porsche mechanic told me that he seen plenty of "clutch problems" turn out to be bunched carpet. Easy trouble shoot and good revenue maker for the service department, I guess. My Toyota carpet has a hole and hook system that works fine that I wish I had on the Boxster.

Damn velcro is pulled off of the carpets on the drivers side... it looks like it was held on by silicone that got too hot and couldn't hold.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
