climate control

hi. stupid question of the day ...

you know the old, manual, climate controls with the knobs that came on the early cars without a/c - anyone know if they are plug and play with the new cars that have the electronic climate control units? i'm deleting my a/c and was thinking of backdating, if possible. if so, anyone wanna trade?

don't know the answer to your question and i don't have a trade, but if your climate control is operational (no sunsetting) i might have an interest (instead of buying that lcd fix from module master)

The LCD fix kit is very easy. A 30 minute job, max.

i've found that you have to get the heater matrix that works with the manual climate control (cable operated). it's a lighter unit that doesn't have the added bulk for the a/c chiller. i'm checking with wreckers to sell how available the entire thing is, and price as it shares a part # with the 03 to 05 gt3 (lightweight, i guess). perhaps another lightweight option for those with a/c delete.
