My 987 base had noticeable suspension noises for the first 1000, maybe less. Back right area, thought it was brake related but could hear it when driving very slow/coasting without the brakes applied. Didn't try pressing down on suspension, but bottom line...it went away (I'm at 2200+ now).

Whew!

You guys take real good care of your 987's... I'm gonna buy one from wonderful owners like you in 2009 or so. Get all the sqeaks out and break them in oh so properly so I can by with confidence!
