98 Boxster, doors locked, dead battery

Hi everyone, I have a 98 boxster and the battery is dead (completely dead, no electronics or anything). Unfortunately I locked the doors before it went dead so I can't use the latches by the driver's seat to open the front hood. What are my options for my 98 Boxster? If I remember correctly, Porsche switched to an electronic switch in 2000 so the methods are different...All help is appreciated!

Dave

I've never had a dead battery but I saved some helpful links in case it happens.
