Vibration at 2200-2400 RPM

Stephanie986 Registered User Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: new york Posts: 1	Vibration at 2200-2400 RPM Last month, my 1998 Boxster started to vibrate at 2200-2400rpm. It does not matter if the car is in gear or not. Temperature seems to make no difference either. Metailic vibration is heard and felt at exactly 2200-2400 RPM, all other RPMs are smooth as glass. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? There is no unusual smoke or smells.
