Vibration at 2200-2400 RPM
Last month, my 1998 Boxster started to vibrate at 2200-2400rpm. It does not matter if the car is in gear or not. Temperature seems to make no difference either.
Metailic vibration is heard and felt at exactly 2200-2400 RPM, all other RPMs are smooth as glass. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? There is no unusual smoke or smells. |
Does it have an Aftermarket exhaust?

Engine mount is a good starting point - especially if you have difficulty with gearchange selection and more than 40,000 miles on the car......

+1 for the front engine mount.
