Bumper update options?

My '05 987 was involved in a little boo-boo and needs the front bumper cover replaced. I was looking at options other than stock replacement. Does anyone know how much different the 987.2 bumper is than the 987.1? I know the headlights are different but the bottom scallop below the headlight looks identical. I would really like to use a Spyder or Aero kit bumper.

Spyder conversion:

Aerokit:

Or is this a try and find out? I may go to the dealer and make a few measurements.

Call Ryan at Suncoast - he should have your answer. I know they have a 997.1 to .2 upgrade kit which includes bumper, LED lights and resistors needed. They probably have one for the 987.2 too or will shortly. The one for 997s is ~ $3k IIRC (about 2.5x higher than upgrading to an Aerokit bumper) before paint so it ain't cheap - not that you would expect it to be...

Good luck

I did call Suncoast (forgot if it was Ryan or not). He said that the fenders were different and so were the headlights. No mention of a 987 refit kit.

I don't know budget yet, I don't expect it to be cheap. But I might be able to do 5K or so.

Now just if I could get this to fit...

Did you ever change out your front bumper?

So I know it's been 3years....just wondering if you ever changed out the bumper. Did you do it yourself, cost, any pics?
THanks,
