Very smart tip pedro .. not the 'perfect' solution since there will be a syringe sized hole in the dash leather BUT it does 95% of the work for 10% of the effort and very little $$ .. I'll try it soon and post pics!

I haven't messed around near the airbag but you'll never get near anything critical in the airbag module using either an exacto knife or syringe if that your concern. You would have to stab it about 1-2" deep. All you want to do is get through the leather which is about 1/16th" thick.
