I did mine last spring along with the door handle covers, best $25 ($15 for leather shipped, $10 for contact cement) I spent on the Boxster.

I am also interested in refinishing the door handle pull covers in Metropol Blue leather. Any information on material sourcing and installation tips is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There are lots of cool options for redoing the armrests. It's a great spot to begin the mod bug!

Did the same thing. Really is a nice upgrade. I also put padding under the leather to make them more comfortable to use.
