Lacquer thinner. All came right off. Accept no substitute.

I tried those useless black cover ups, and were they ugly.
I found rubbing alcohol-soaked paper towels lifted the airbag decals very nicely.

I had some Uni-Solve Adhesive Remover around. This is strong stuff, I used alcohol pads afterward to clean the residual. Then some Armor-All after that.

Both visors are nice and clean. I forgotten how bad the stickers looked.

Air bag visor decal removal

I am a new 02 Boxster owner and I immediately wanted to remove those obnoxious air bag stickers off of my visors. I have a triple black Boxster and those yellow stickers stuck out like a neon light. Thanks to this forum I went with isopropyl alcohol and in about 10 minutes I had one sticker removed. Easy peasy. No damage to the vinyl. Just keep resoaking your rag and keep rubbing the IA on the sticker gently and pretty soon they begin to dissolve. Clean up with a typical cleaner (401 or Fantastic) and then apply 303 or Armor-All and you'll love it.
