Is a PDK Tranny Track Worthy for just several D.E. events per year?

Totally different animals.

The PDK is a twin clutch automated manual transmission the tip is an automatic transmission.

The PDK has two clutches, the Tip has a torque converter. Read here to get more info on the PDK.
