All painted and ready to go!

I finally got around to pick up the kit from the bodyshop. It's all painted up and ready to go on the car. I'm not sure when I'll get around to it but at least it's ready to go.

Now I have to wait a bit longer (8-12 weeks) for the rims to get done along with some other trinkets.

Why did you not fill up the bumper hole?

I never thought about it to be honest. I guess that I figured that it might come in handy someday for being pulled onto a flatbed.

I did have them fill the license plate square holes tho.

If you don't mind, how much did it cost for the painting?

It's about a $1200 job for prep, labor, and materials for all of the pieces shown (not including filling the license plate holes).

I am, however, fortunate to have a close family friend that owns a paint and body shop who did the job for free.

I really must make a friend who owns a body shop and wants to do paint work for me for free. I'm putting that on my to-do list right now.

Randall, it is one thing that EVERYONE should have in their back pocket. It does come in handy from time to time!
