24 hours and no one came through. This RC glider was originally designed and made by Hobie Alter of surfboard and catamaran fame in 1974. It is a Hobie Hawk. The elliptical dihedral should have been a dead giveaway. It is a very distinctive feature of this glider, (tonycarreon-the Airtronics Aquila has the more conventional polyhedral and the wing has a constant cord center section.)
Thank you Overdrive for letting me hijack your thread. I had a feeling that my point wasn't in too much risk, now back to the picture challenge. You would think that anyone from Alaska to Colorado could do this easily. Hell, I can see a snowy mountain from Seattle and I don’t even have to leave the city.

C'mon folks, find that picture of your Boxster with a (real) snow covered mountain! At best my local mountain might have some fog toward the top, so I'm SOL at the moment...

Ok, Spinnaker, looks like we're about 5 hours away from the 48 hour mark. You'll have your second opportunity to retain your point starting then for the next 24 hours after that, and upon succesfully doing that, presenting the next challenge...not that either of them have been particularly difficult.

Don't let that stop any of you from trying to post up a picture if you've got one or are going to get one in the next 30 hours. You just have to beat Spinnaker.

OK Overdrive, I will post it now since I know that you will be busy this weekend with your clamshell/top issues, just so we can move on. I seems that everyone is photo challenged as of lately. Don’t know why it is so hard to find a mountain. I just drove a mile over to Lake Washington and snapped this while I was running an errand yesterday. Figured I’d plan ahead for the inevitably lack of picture posting, because it appears that most of you don’t have the time to chase after the challenges. The next one will be as easy as my brick wall one was.
As long as the Sun is shining where you are this one should take any of you about 15 seconds to do. The most difficult thing you might have to do is to move the car out of the garage. It is better that I post this now, since the sun is still up on the east coast. If I waited until the 48 hr time limit came up, the west coast would have the advantage since you would be in the dark by then. My apologies to those in the EU.
Next: A close up of the Porsche crest on your hood with a reflection of the Sun next to it.
BTW, everyone knows that this would really be a challenge here in Seattle because it rains here all the time.

Unhappy

I was at a shopping center yesterday and I thought, my car looks good parked there. I should take a picture.

But then I got a phone call that distracted me and I completely forgot to take the picture.
