+1 to what Pierre stated
35 watt output HID equals less heat generated
versus 55 watt halogens
I bought new headlights after original owner yellowed
the lenses with 100 watt h7 bulbs
put HID in the low beam last year
this year I did the fog lights in HID
no yellowing...adds an updated look to car
very happy with HID lights on car
especially @ night
