99 Boxcutter Goth Popper Join Date: May 2011 Location: New Orleans Posts: 140	Differences between 1997,1998 & 1999 Boxsters? After reading the Wiki page on Boxsters, I was under the impression that the 1997-1999 models were exactly the same, however, this is clearly not the case. My 98 has a freakin tape deck! Also my 99 has a glovebox behind the seats wheras my 98 does not. It all started when I went to swap the seats out of my 99 Boxster which are partially powered and noticed the ones from my 1998 Boxster are fully powered. Are they not compatible?
