Smile Turn signal stalk moving?

I wanted to post this for anyone experiencing a similar problem. On my boxster, the whole turn signal/windshield wiper/cruise control unit began to turn along with the fascia. Suffice to say it began to get really annoying. Not sure what cause this; an improper re-installation after some repair or just loosening up.

In any case, once you remover the steering wheel fascia pieces, there is a screw on the bottom of the steering column that is used to tighten a collar around the steering column. This collar is like a hose clamp and it holds the whole stalk unit to the column. Mine was loose. Some tightening did the trick!

You don't even need to remove the steering wheel. Just pull it out all the way, and if you can turn the wheel left and right you can get to the fascia screws that are on the front. Next it's off with the side screws (careful not to drop them), and the clip on the bottom side. Putting it back together is fine puzzle challenge, but its do-able with some patience.
