spacers for brake calipers?

What is the purpose of spacers for the brake calipers?

Are they only for the rear brakes?

What considerations should go into a decision about adding spacers to the brakes?

stupid question?

Was this a stupid question?

As my Granny always told me: There is no such thing as a stupid question. Only stupid people who ask questions.

I've never heard of brake caliper spacers. Do you mean wheel spacers?

The only kind of brake caliper "spacers" that I've ever heard of are on "big brake" upgrade kits that come with a bracket that moves the caliper out farther from the wheel hub to accomodate a larger diameter rotor.
