clamshell and hood stuck down any one can help?

Thanks amigo! Ok I spent all day on this and let me say it was the most complex job I've ever tried to do in my life! That's if everything was'nt set with markers which mine was'nt!I basicly had to turn the wing things and try it then take it off and move i then try it again and then repeat that process about 60 times! By which time I'm swearing at the car and wishing we never crossed paths! But after a cup of tea and a calm down I realised I still love the car just want to hunt down the guy who designed the convertible system, because it's bloody annoying!

Anyway here's were I'm at I've got it all connected up and it does it's thing going down all nice and smooth but when it goes fully down it won't come back up and makes this really load popping sound the only way is if you get someone to lift the clamshell while another person presses the button then it comes back up any one had this before?

I really would appreciate help!
