I saw this FULL page ad in the June 20, 2005 AutoWeek. And I thought I loved my car?!?

Thats because a slant nose 930 1989 with the 5sp trans(only year for a 930) can be worth up to 150K depending on the milage.
1989 slant nose 930 cabs are rare!!!!

I bet the car's been stripped already. While the whole is worth a lot more, it's too detectable. The parts will yeild a couple of rocks of crack for whomever snagged it.

I sure am glad the Boxster is harder (not impossible though) to steal compared to older cars. The transponder in the remote is really a solid theft deterrent as the engine simply will not turn over without it. I figure if I always have my key on me, they'll have to tow it off to steal it.

Am I accurate on this, or do Boxster's get stolen all the time with hotwiring, etc.?
