U da man Registered User Join Date: May 2018 Location: maryland Posts: 2	convertible top latch screws ( NUTS are stripped out ) 1998 Boxster convertible top latch screws ( nuts are stripped out )..... I took apart my Boxster convertible top latch mount at the top of the windshield.. The nuts can NOT be replaced !!!!! After trying larger screws to no avail, it just made them worse.. I then took a small hammer and two plastic wall anchors and tapped them in.. I used the coarse screws that came with then anchors.. Do not over tighten them and be gentle when latching and unlatching the top... Has been working good for a few weeks now.. James
