Looks good ! Might look even better if you lightly sand the "Boxster" lettering, so that the top of the letters are unpainted, i.e. shiny in stainless steel appearance.

Yeah, I've got these too. Not bad for the money, but the black is just a sticker and he wastes nothing, i.e., the "Boxster" that was cut out of the OP's photo is what I've got on my sill plate. I've got the opposite of what is posted - SS plate with black "Boxster" sticker.

part is stainless steel the black area is a sticker but high quality. they are heavy and well cut.

my pic doesnt do them justice. hell i took the pic and i hadnt stuck them on yet which you can see the placement in the pic is off.

i would pick this pair over the 100 buck pair sold for the plastic ones.

Been too long, it's off my "Won" list. I'd just search "Boxtster Sills" and you should be able to find them. They are not consistently listed, so if you don't see them, try again in a week or so.

I have them from the same seller as well. He's great to work with and sells the rear speaker kits too, I believe. I bought them about 6 years ago and they still look great. They are inexpensive, look good IMO, and are easy to maintain.

What kind of adhesive are you using to hold them down? A very nice set of brushed aluminum sills came with my Boxster, but the passenger side has come loose...

you should remove the existing adhesive then reapply using w/ 3M auto trim acrylic doublesided foam adhesive tape (can be found in most auto parts stores - even national chains). It's a grey tape w/ red covering - get the 3/4" wide version. Clean both the underside of the sill cover and the sill itself w/ denatured alcohol or a good wax and grease remover first. Then, lay two stripes of it on the underside of the sill cover (w/ about 1" or so around the edges) leaving the protective covering on. Then, place it where you want and mark the location using some blue painters tape. Then flip it back over, remove the protective cover and place it back. Press firmly in place for a minute or two and you should be good to go.

Good luck
