Has anyone ever installed a CHIP on their 1998 Boxster..If so any change and what brand. Is it worth it?

"Chipping" or soldering a chip to the ecu is a bygone form of tuning. Re-mapping the ecu is now accomplished by uploading a software program via the vehicle's OBD port .

One of the most well known sources of re-mapping software for the Boxster is Softronic:

about the "is it worth it question":
Do a search on this forum and you'll find an abundance of opinions.
Pick the opinion you like the most and then make your decision
