Remember your first ride in a sports car?

We had one when I was a kid, my Dad use to race. One of our other cars was a convertible; I was to young to remember my first time in a sports car. We used to hide under the tonneau cover. Sports Cars were normal. But I do remember when the Country Squire wagon was in the shop, and my mom had to take ten (10) of us, on both sides, under and up across the back of our MGA to a cub scouts meeting.
