I am just a traditionalist, I guess. I feel rewarded when I wash and polish my car and see that deep shine. The flat black look is kind of distinctive and bad-ass like in a Mad Max movie, but for me it just looks like your car is in primer. Or, it makes me feel like I need new glasses. Oh well. To each his own.
