I got the 5 quart and filter for $30 special but then had to get another 4 quarts at $8 a peice! Like a dumb-sh-t I didn't just get two specials. When I went back the special had ended...this stuff is more expensive then Mobil one, they are very proud of it This was at AdvanceAutoparts here in Charlotte NC.

Found exactly the same bargain price at my local (NE Ohio) O'Reilly's. This after trying FOUR other places that not only did not have a sale price on 10W-40 Syntec...THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE IT AT ALL!!! (Stopping at O'Reilly's was an afterthought...it's a new place, didn't even know they were there!)

No O'Reilly up here. Just autozone which regularly has the 5 for 25 deal but they toss in a free oil filter. On my last trip I lucked out and they had the Puraltor made in Germany so that was two free filters...although the price went up to $28.
I take the oil to a car wash that used to be a Mobil 1. $30 for the labor....I try and get them to let it drain for at least an hour.

are the right filters available for the box at o'reilly's? I'm thinking of using castrol in place of mobil 1 this go-round and this sale helps!

wondering if I can get the filter there too, or if I should let my Indy provide that?

AutoZone has the buy 5 quarts and get a free filter every once in a while. Got 10 quarts and 2 filters for $60 last month. No Boxster filters but got some for my new truck.

All Full Sythetic oils are on sale right now at Auto Zone for $2 off. Sales lasts till April 4th. If you show the ad to other stores. they most likely will price-match.

Unless I'm missing something, that AutoZone ad is just for motorcycle oil...

The sale is on here in So. CA ! The sale maybe only for locations that O Reilly is new to, they recently bought out Kragen auto parts.
