There are some plastic nuts with a small screw inside on the wheel well plastic, as well as 2 plastic nuts under the car, remove them and plastic will come out.

I have a small dent on my rear fedenr as well (less the a dime, paint is intact) is there a way to pop it back?

Get some dry ice and apply it to the dent (wrapped in a cloth, of course)...it really works, as the cold will force the metal back to it's original shape.

It works...I've tried it. You can Google for detailed procedure and YouTube videos to watch it done.
