Greetings! Just bought an 2008 Boxster S with 20,000 miles. It's a black on black and I just love the car. Bought it from a dealer with the CPO. I have read a lot on this forum and have already learned a bunch. Thanks for such a great source of information!
I do have a couple of questions. How do you change the "pollen filter" on this 987..? I have gone through and used the search but have only found how to replace it on the 986. I can't find the cover that it refers to..?
I also want to change the oil and it looks like most use the Castrol Syntec 5W-40...is there anyplace that sells it in the 5 quart jugs.?

The pollen filter should be under the front hood, passenger side. Remove the plastic cover near the windshield and you should see it. I use Castro Syntec 5-40 and it comes in jugs...you will need 2. Got mine at Walmart.
