A/C O-Ring Sizes

Does anyone know the sizes of the o-rings used in mating the A/C expansion valve to the evaporator and refrigerant lines on both the high and low pressure sides? I've looked in the part catalog and the repair manual and asked several parts suppliers, Nobody seems to know. Thanks

I hade the same question when fixing my AC.
Ended up buying the full O-Rings kit from pelican.
I can have a look and see which one I used.

as you can see in this picture, you will need 4 different sizes.



i just noticed that two of them are green, and two are purple (you cant see that from this picture). i'm not sure if it means anything, but in the kit i got, they are all green.
this is the kit:







the ones you will need are: MT0191,MT0199,MT0248,MT0160
i don't know the meaning of these numbers, so here is a picture of the box with more information:



not sure for what reason you are removing the valve. i needed to do that in order to replace my evaporator.at the end of the process you will neat to evacuate the system, and recharge it. it is recommended to replace the dryer as well.
in the O-Ring kit i got, i didn't find one that will perfectly fit the drier.
to evacuate and recharge the system, i went to a local AC guy.he replaced the O-Rings for the drier at no charge.
if i would have to repeat it again, i will let him use his own O-Rings on the valve as well, instead of buying the kit. would probably cost me 10$ more.
this way or the other, if you still want to do it yourself, PM me your address.
ill throw the O-Ring in an envelop, and mail it to you.

Thanks for the information on the o-rings.

It turned out the expansion valve and not the evaporator was leaking. I replaced the expansion valve last week. I started to hear symptoms of low refrigerant again and a black light inspection showed dye all over the front of the new valve. I'm thinking the local A/C either didn't tighten the face plate enough or used the wrong o-ring size.

I see the A/C shop tomorrow.
