help plz

I have just purchased a Porsche boxster, model 2004 with American specs.
I have noticed that whenever I turn on the front headlights, both the side repeaters gets on! And if I use the signal switch right or left the side repeaters doesn’t work (blink), as if both the repeaters are connected to the headlights and not the signal lights. I asked a Porsche expert and he said all Porsches with American specs are like that.
Could someone explain to me if this is true? And If not how to fix it.

The US side markers do not blink like the ROW cars. Only the blinkers in the lightpod blink. There is a hack to make the side markers blink. Do a google search for it (it's probably on http://www.renntech.org ). I'll be doing this hack myself in the near future.
