short shifter from Vertex auto for $159.00

i have bought pad from them before and it good.
does anyone know who makes these shifters? and if they're any good?
if it is, it should be a deal for $159.00....

Looks pretty close to a B&M unit other than the bent shifter lever (which really is a non-issue). Website doesn't mention what materials the shifter is made from nor how much reduction in throw. WTF?
