So I'm troubleshooting an ignition/computer issue on a Mini Cooper, no not mine, just my problem. And yes I'm trying to convince the owner that a list of other cars would be a better option... including the 986.

So, I posted to a rather active Mini forum and the only response I received to my inquiry was "make sure you press in the clutch when you start the car."

Well I already appreciated this site, but wow seriously this site is like having a dozen Porsche engineers in my living room as compared to the Mini forums.

I too am sooooo appreciative of everyone here who answers all my questions in depth and at length. I would have sold my car for a nasty financial loss by now had it not been for this forum! So thank you from me too!

I completely agree! I am hooked onto this site. My wife thinks that I am crazy. I look forward to reading new post everynight to see what's new and what I can learn today about my boxster. Thanks all.
